Requirement review / supplier coordination
Define the requested service scope before asking wheel bearing manufacturers for clearance data, batch files and comparable quote terms. Hubroute Sourcing coordinates requests; it does not manufacture bearings or hubs.
Buyer supplies vehicle fitment inputs—model year, axle designation, bolt pattern or stud count, bore diameter or driven spline, mounting position, ABS encoder and connector pin count—plus packing unit and destination ZIP code. Unresolved interfaces stay marked open; an OE reference is for identification only.
Ask wheel bearing manufacturers about production scope, internal clearance evidence, sample approval options, batch traceability identifiers and supplier declaration documents for the exact hub reference. Clarify new versus remanufactured condition and any core charge before ranking offers.
Separate unit cost, packing unit contents, freight, taxes, Incoterms and service costs before comparing. Keep seals, sensors and fastening hardware as explicit line items. A complete hub assembly kit cannot share one unit price with a press-in bearing or individual parts package.
Record approved sample scope, unresolved clearance or encoder questions, warranty scope language and each party’s delivery responsibility. Sample approval is not automatic batch acceptance; batch consistency checks remain a separate agreement. No factory ownership or authorization is implied by coordinating quotes.
Minimum order quantity, gross package weight and left/right orientation belong in the written RFQ when the axle program requires them. Hubroute Sourcing organizes comparable manufacturer responses; fitment remains subject to supplier confirmation against your stated application.
